Do you go through skate shoes like crazy? If you do , you may be interested in a contest that Emerica is holding. You could win a year’s worth of Emerica shoes. The following are the rules posted on their website:

Join the Emerica team and enter right now for a chance to win a year’s worth of Emerica shoes! To be eligible to win, you have to follow all of these instructions. Read them carefully.

1. Create your own Emerica Team profile page, if you haven’t already.

2. Upload an avatar. (After you’ve created your profile, click on the “My Profile” tab on the right side, then the “Account” section, then browse for a photo on your computer.)

3. Upload a background. (Click on the “My Profile” tab on the right side, then the “Style” section, then browse for a photo on your computer.)

4. Write some interesting, creative and / or funny things about yourself in the “About Me” section. (Click on the “My Profile” tab on the right side, then the “Content” section, then start typing.)

5. Fill each section of your profile–News, Photos, Video–with at least five interesting, creative and / or funny posts. (Click on each section and upload content in the fields at the top.)

6. Add your favorite Emerica products in the “My Steez” section. (Go to any product page and click the clothes hanger icon at the top center of the product photo.)

7. Add friends in the “My Homies” section and socialize with other members. (Go to any member’s page and click on the “Add As a Friend” icon in the “About Me” section at the top left.)

8. Post your profile’s URL one time only in the comments below. Do not post it more than once or you’ll be disqualified. (Your profile’s URL is located in the field at the very top of your browser window. Example of a profile URL: http://emericaskate.com/team/ed-templeton)

9. Each entrant must follow all of the instructions above to be eligible.

We are looking for original, creative and personal content, not other people’s stuff copied and pasted from the web. (If you don’t own any kind of camera that can shoot video, uploading other people’s videos is okay.) Anyone with a pre-existing profile containing all of the content mentioned above is also eligible to win if all of the sections have been updated in 2009. When the contest is over, we’ll choose one winner, who will receive 12 free pairs of Emerica shoes. The contest ends on December 31, 2009. Read the Official Rules.
